Who we are

Contact form and enquiries
When you use the contact form or leave your email after the deadweight increase check, we receive what you enter: name, email address, vessel or company, IMO number, your message and — for the check — the vessel particulars you typed in and the preliminary result. We use this only to answer your enquiry and, if it leads to work, to prepare and carry out that work (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — steps prior to a contract — and Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries).
The form is delivered to our mailbox through Web3Forms, an email forwarding service that acts as our processor. We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them and for any resulting business relationship, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Deadweight increase check
The particulars you enter in the tool are sent to our server only to compute the preliminary result and are not stored. Nothing reaches us unless you choose to send us your email afterwards.
Analytics cookies
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand which pages are useful — for example page views and clicks on buttons such as "Get a quote". Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address and device information; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page). Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, and receive it in a portable format. Email info@normship.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
